Make Tracks has been established for 17 years, and in that time we have got to know all the best accommodation providers around Scotland. We also make sure we avoid some of the places that are not so good. We don't just pick out accommodation from brochures and websites. We try to visit all of the people who look after our clients; and over the years, many of them have become personal friends. They know us, and they know what our clients like; so they will enjoy welcoming you, and making you feel at home.

We won't offer you exactly the same type of accommodation at every stop. Different towns and villages have varying ranges of accommodation. So at one stop, you might be staying in a traditional Scottish farmhouse B&B; at the next you could be in a coaching inn; or perhaps a comfortable Victorian Guest House. These could all be part of the mixture, depending on your preferences and on what is available when you book. The accommodation will nearly always be in en-suite rooms - the only exceptions are at some very isolated villages where there is no en-suite accommodation, or if there are no en-suite rooms left at the time of booking (usually only happens with late booking).
