| This short
break (3 nights - 3 walking days) takes you into typical scenery
of the Scottish Highlands (mountains, lochs and fast flowing rivers),
but starts and finishes less than one hour by car (under 2 hours
by public transport) from either
Glasgow or Edinburgh. The route takes you through the land of highland
legend Rob Roy McGregor, following paths that he followed, and stopping
at Balquhidder, where he is now buried in the little kirkyard. |
